The Administration office is located off the main plaza on the north side. Orchids should be accompanied by an entry form. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 30. Orchids must remain in the conservatory until 5:30p.m. on Sunday, May 2. All orchids should be picked up between 5:30 and 6:30 on Sunday, May 2 at the entrance to the Botanic Garden. No orchid will be released until it has been logged out by the New Mexico Orchid Guild Show Committee. Priority will be given to entrants from out-of-town when distributing plants. Any orchids left after 6:30p.m. will be left in the Administration Office of the Bio-Park for pick-up on Monday. Any Plants left after Monday will become the property of the Bio-Park. For questions call 505-366-7272.
Please fill-in as much information about your plants as you can prior to the show. Fill in the name of your plant with genus and species or hybrid name. Also fill-in parentage and award information. The award information is only the information you would find on your orchid name tag. For example, if a grower produced a tissue culture of a plant from an awarded plant, it is essentially still the same plant that was awarded and the name tag would have the award after the name. That award is the what goes on the “previous awards” line of the form. If your own plant has previously been given an award, enter that on the “previous awards” line also. Orchid Wiz will be available at check-in for you to find parentage and award information. It would be greatly appreciated if you could send in the forms in advance to save everyone time at check-in. We would be happy to fill in the parentage information for you if forms are received by midnight April 26. If you think you will be exhibiting an orchid, send in the form. If something happens and it doesn’t open for you, we can just toss the forms. Forms may be faxed to 505-3431698 or emailed to fabulousorchids@comcast.net
